Richard Hammond is the founder and chief executive of the Greentraveller Media Group, which specialises in providing social media and video promotion of sustainable transport and tourism. On its flagship award-winning website greentraveller.co.uk, it features Greentraveller’s Guides to most of Britain’s National Parks and over a dozen areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - these are interactive online guides that promote vetted places to stay, local food & drink, farmers’ markets, family days out, festivals, art and craft, and walks, cycle rides and outdoor adventure.

Over the last five years, Greentraveller’s film unit has produced over 100 videos for both the public and private sector. It is currently producing a series of short films for Wiltshire Council about using public transport to visit the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site.
