Social Travel Britain Awards 2015

The Social Travel Britain Awards 2015 recognise excellent in the use of digital and social media in the UK’s domestic tourism sector. The awards are open to destination marketing organisations (DMOs) and tourist boards, accommodation providers, tourist attractions and transport providers working predominantly in UK domestic tourism.

Nominations are sought in the following twelve categories:

• Best overall use of social media - DMO

• Best overall use of online video - DMO

• Best campaign/project using social media and/or online video - DMO

• Best overall use of social media - Accommodation

• Best overall use of online video - Accommodation

• Best campaign/project using social media and/or online video - Accommodation

• Best overall use of social media - Attraction

• Best overall use of online video - Attraction

• Best campaign/project using social media and/or online video - Attraction

• Best overall use of social media - Transport

• Best overall use of online video - Transport

• Best campaign/project using social media and/or online video - Transport

You may nominate others or your own organisation. THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS 10 APRIL 2015. All nominations will be judged by a panel of experts and their decision on eligibility is final. You can nominate here.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 17 April held in Salisbury Cathedral, home of the best remaining example of the Magna Carta, which is 800 years old this year.
